Take care about reducing of calorie intake. It needs to be optimal and customized to your body and needs.
2. Don’t skip breakfast
Eat no later than two hours after waking up. Eat for breakfast more than you think you should. Take away some calories in the evening and add them to breakfast.
3. Never feel hungry
Eat every four hours. Divide your meals into smaller portions. Eating often will keep your metabolism active throughout the day.
4. Eat various foods
Eating a variety of foods will provide all nutrients to the body and promote good health. But many of the food that is part of modern eating habits are not part of five food groups. Those five major food groups are:
- vegetables and legumes or beans
- fruit
- lean meats and poultry, fish, eggs, tofu, nuts, and seeds, legumes or beans
- grain (cereal) foods, mostly whole grain or high cereal fiber varieties
- milk, yogurt, cheese, or alternatives, mostly reduced fat.
5. Stop eating junk food
There are multiple reasons why you should stop eating junk food. Junk food lacks nutrients, there is literally nothing in it, except a lot of calories. Junk food increases the risk of heart diseases, different kinds of cancer, impairs digestion, can lead to depression, causes fluctuations in blood sugar levels, etc.
6. Be physically active
Try to be active every day or at least 3 times per week. Regular physical activity promotes strong muscles and bones, improves mood, cardiovascular, respiratory, and overall health. If you don’t know how to do it yourself, find a personal trainer.
